PRIIPs 2.0: a general overview

On 7 September 2021, the European Commission finally adopted a new version of the PRIIPs Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS). The adopted RTS barely differs from the version presented by the ESAs in February 2021. The most important change is the postponement of the application date to 1 July 2022 and the extension of the transitional arrangement for UCITS by six months, i.e. till 30 June 2022.
